McComb Monument has now grown to be a leader of memorial craftsmanship and customer service in Lapeer and Southeast Michigan. The McComb’s family is growing and has relocated out of state, so Jim and Kim have decided to find buyers who will continue to honor the relationships they have created and continue to help families in need.

Their friends and colleagues, Jack & Carrie Smith, purchased McComb Monument March 2023. Jack and Carrie continue Kim and Jim’s legacy through Perfect Peace Memorials.

Perfect Peace Memorials exists to provide families compassionate guidance through the memorial purchase process. Our custom designed monuments will provide a permanent legacy for you or your loved one by telling a personal story.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

CARRIE

Carrie is our Team’s Business Owner and absolutely anything Finance. She is beyond passionate about her role at Perfect Peace Memorials and it deeply shows through her kind words and hard work. It was her vision to buy the business from Jim and Kim McComb and continue their legacy. Our Properties Entity is named after her life verse, Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in Perfect Peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” 

Carrie taught Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Lapeer County Education and Technology Center for 20+ years and has chosen this as her path of “retirement.” She attended University of Michigan Flint for her BBA and Ferris State University for her Masters of Education. On the weekends, you can find Carrie in Caseville, MI on a boat with her husband, Jack, and wonderful friends and family.

JACK

Jack is our Team’s Owner and Installation Manager. He is also a Real Estate Agent for Lapeer’s Coldwell Banker. He graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management. If you catch him at our office, you’ll probably find him cracking a joke to give everyone a chuckle. He is very detail-oriented and fearless, allowing him to confirm everything is to a T without a doubt! In his spare time you can find him playing with his favorite kid, Poppy - the family dog, and golfing with his buddies. 

DONOVAN

Donovan, or Dono, is our Team’s Installation Manager. He is very down to earth and kind, bringing a sense of peacefulness and stability to the Team. Dono attended Eastern Michigan University for three years in their Cyber-Security Program. This means as a bonus, he is also an IT wiz meaning you can find him in the office answering all our printer and computer questions. In his spare time, Dono spends time with his wife, Kery, and their (amazing) cat, Magnus, while gaming and listening to music.

VERONICA

Meet Veronica, or Ronnie, our talented Designer and compassionate team member. Ronnie works closely with families, creating a supportive and collaborative environment to help them honor their loved ones in meaningful ways. A 2023 graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in Human Resource Management, she combines creativity with heartfelt care to bring each family’s vision to life.

Outside of work, Ronnie loves soaking up the sun, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with her friends and her adorable cats, Smokie and Hutch. Her passion for this role stems from the privilege of hearing families’ stories and memories, which inspires her every day. Ronnie truly believes in the importance of creating a space where love and legacy shine through.

PERFECT PEACE POPPY

You can occasionally catch Poppy, or Perfect Peace Poppy, around the office. She loves new or familiar faces!
